What is the GED®?
The GED® (General Educational Development) is a group of four subject tests which, when passed, provide certification that the test taker has American or Canadian high school-level academic skills.
It is accepted by virtually all U.S. colleges and employers as equivalent to a high school diploma. The GED® Testing Service is a joint venture of the American Council on Education and Pearson.
